Just 10 kilometres from the capital Palma de Mallorca is Can Pastilla. Although it was one of the first towns to have been discovered by the British tourists in the early 1960s, it has still remained some of its original character. There are many small streets and a lovely centre, with many shops and restaurants and beautiful beaches. The small streets lead down to the marina of this town, Club Maritimo San Antonio de la Playa. The marina is ideal to leave your boat, as it is close to Palma, but does not have its problems.

The beach, Playa de Palma, stretches all the way to Arenal. It is a very beautiful and popular beach that is known for its "Balnearios". These beach huts have a toilet, shower and a kiosk which sells refreshments and can be very useful for navigating around the resort. Do watch out for the Lookie Lookie Men that will try to sell fake watches that rarely even work.

From Can Pastilla it is very easy to get to the capital Palma, but also the airport of Mallorca, Son Sant Joan International Airport, is nearby. From Palma it is also easy to get around the island, with buses going to almost every corner of the island.

Every big city has a taxi-stand. If you take a taxi, ask for a pricelist, there are fixed prices for many trips.
From the airport, Son Sant Joan International Airport, you will be able to fly to almost every country in Europe, even many times to several destinations in each country.

There is a good connection from Palma de Mallorca to the mainland and the other Balearic Islands. Ferries go to the other islands, Menorca and Ibiza, and to Valencia, Barcelona and Denia.
All together Can Pastilla is a nice small town with the all the facilities you need close by in Palma de Mallorca. Property prices are not as high as in the capital Palma, and Can Pastilla is an ideal ubication to enjoy of sunshine and beaches.
