Soller

Small and picturesque town located in the north-west of Mallorca island.

Port de Soller, is its port, and the main town lies in a flat and fertile valley. In the same valley, there are 2 another towns called Fornalutx and Biniaraix. Typical Mediterranean plantings are grown in this valley like oranges and olive trees.

The connections between Soller and the capital are excellent, even in spite of the Serra de Tramuntana, there is good transportation by train, bus, and railway. The airport is not far, around 30 minutes by road, being Soller a main destiny for many foreign tourists like Germans and Britishs who prefer the called eco-tourism to the hustle of the capital Palma. Eco-tourism that includes trips in the nature, hiking excursion, swimming.; this is possible by the Sierra that is surrounding the valley. Soller is in definitely a different way of living in Mallorca.
