Located in the north part of the island, it occupies the northwest part of the island, and its where the most gorgeous parts of the island are located. Having peaks over 1000 metres as Puig Mayor (1445), and Puig Massanella (1364). Deep valleys and plenty of high hills, provoke the succession of several rifts at the coast. In winter periods, it is possible to find snow at the top peaks.
