As well knowns as El Pla, is another area particularly different from the others. Not as known turistically as the other areas, though that does not mean with no charming. Their villages and towns are organized in an entity called: mancomunidad del Pla

It is particularly an agricultural area with historic and ancient monuments. Among prehistoric symbols are famous the called Taliots. The other picturesque unit in the Pla is the church. Though the local people used to be involved in agricultural activities and business, it is emerging a new economical sector involved rural houses, related with the new called agro-tourism.

It is for that reason why the Pla is a particularly relax place to live or to visit, and on the finest samples of knowing the rural and traditional environment of Mallorca.
