NEW TRAIN STATION INTER-MODAL

Two years after the begining of constructions of train corridor between Palma and Inca, the train returned to Plaza Espaa. First it was probation period before it comes tomorrow regulary. This new infrastructure is really convenient for the users of Palma, and improves greatly the old system. Train station inter-modal of Plaza Espaa constitutes a success, and it is a model to follow in future developments of public transportation in Mallorca.

BALLEAR, THE REGION WITH MORE FOREIGN POPULATION

Balears is the regions with more foreign people with almost 17%, while in the rest of the country even does not get 10%. The archipelago counts officially a population of 1.001.062, from 167.751 are non-spanish.

AMENDMENT OF ESTATU OF ILLES BALEARS

The amendment of Estatu of Illes Balears, was approved definitely at the Senate, and it will be official today after its publication in (BOE - official bulletin of Spain) yesterday. This event corresponds to the official day of IIes Balears, 1st march of 1983.

HOUSING PRICES INCREASED A 12% IN BALEARES ON 2006

Concerning reports from BBVA studio about situation of REAL ESTATE market in Spain, Mallorca properties prices had higher increments than the national average. Prices increments are still high though it is observer a progressibily moderation in these increments.

| The report says there are different factors to justify these property demands. The most important are the good economy health of the country and also the continous drecrease of unemployment; then Spanish families can afford the purchase of property better than before that only they could rent it.
